WoW Hike at Rockland Preserve, Madison - 11/6

Join Women of the Woods (WoW) for ~4-mile socially distanced hike at the Rockland preserve with nice trails, big boulders, and a beautiful pond. The trails we will take have some ups and downs, but nothing sustained. Over half the hike will be on wide trails or old dirt roads. To keep the group small, we are offering this hike on both Th 11/5 at 1 PM and Fri 11/6 at 9 AM. Space limited to 10 women per hike. Masks are required for this program.  (This hike was originally scheduled for 10/28.)

Please wear sturdy walking shoes or sneakers, bring a pack with water, a snack and dress for the weather. You may want to bring hiking poles if you like the extra support and stability they provide.

Women of the Woods is a program of Everyone Outside. In addition to walking, we will take the time to admire the beauty around us, learn a bit about the flora or fauna, do some exercises to connect with the natural world (mostly sitting quietly) and enjoy each other's company.

Registration required. Directions will be sent to those that register and registrants will be notified via email if the hike is postponed or cancelled due to weather.
