Teen Nature Explorers Program

This program is open to youth in grades 7-8 (approx. ages 12-14). In partnership with Fire Ring Farm's Erin Livensparger, who brings 15 years experience as a youth health educator for Planned Parenthood, this Everyone Outside nature connection program helps emerging adults deepen their connection with the natural world through hiking, nature games and exploring local nature preserves as well as learn to improve their communication skills, form healthy relationships, deal with stereotypes and gender rolls, set goals, practice body positivity and learn about personal health and nutrition. The lessons in this 6-session course build on each other, so commitment to the entire program is necessary.
