Join us for a 1 to1.5-mile family-friendly hike in the woods at the Mt Pisgah Preserve in Durham. Registration for this free program is through Middlefield Recreation. Residents of other towns are welcome to attend and may need to make a Middlefield Rec account.

About the Event

Come join Andie Bisceglia (Everyone Outside program staff) for a family-friendly walk in the woods. We will hike 1 - 1.5-miles, and stop for fun activities along the way, learning about the plants and animals around us, and how they adapt to survive the long winter. We will also check out all the cool beaver sign at the edge of the marsh. The trail is mostly flat with a few rocky areas and short ups or downs. Come prepared for the weather, hike will happen snow or shine! Hike distance may be less if snow. If you have very young children or infants, a backpack carrier is recommended.
This is a program for all ages. All children must be accompanied an adult.
