Wednesday Nature Explorers
Afternoon Nature Explorers Program at Fire Ring Farm in Portland (Ages 8-12)
Wednesdays, 12-4pm
Next session: 2/17 - 3/24 (FULL - waitlist)
Daytime nature connection program at Fire Ring Farm in Portland. Enjoy seasonal farm activities and spend time exploring the Middlesex Land Trust trails and forest that surround the farm. This program will be limited to 10 children and takes place entirely outdoors.

Friday Nature Explorers
Daytime Nature Explorers Program at Fire Ring Farm in Portland (Ages 6-12)
Fridays, 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM
Next session: 2/12 - 3/19
Join us at Fire Ring Farm for seasonal farm activities and time exploring the Middlesex Land Trust open space surrounding the farm. We will observe nature's changes through the seasons, learn to nature journal and partake in fitting seasonal activities such as maple sugaring, planting and exploring. Parents/caregivers welcome to stay with children requiring behavioral supervision.

Monthly Preteen Girls Program
Nature and Self Exploration for girls in grades 5-8 at Fire Ring Farm in Portland
Once monthly on Sundays
Time: 1:00 - 4:00 PM
The goal of this program is to help girls strengthen their confidence and self-esteem, learn to foster positive connections with all types of people as well as the natural world and increase their personal and collective strengths while using their own authentic voices.

The cost of this program has been reduced and significant financial aid has been made available thanks to a grant from the Community Foundation of Middlesex County's Sari Rosenbaum Fund for Women and Girls.
Girls Outside Mondays
Girls After-School Nature Exploration
at Snow School in Middletown (Gr. 1-5)
- This program will resume in Spring 2021 -
Come enjoy time in the great outdoors with Everyone Outside as we connect with the natural world through play. This program takes place on the grounds of Snow School, nearby Wadsworth Mansion grounds and Wadsworth Falls State Park. Transportation not provided.
For Grades 1 to 5, but slightly older or younger children may register with permission.

Herbal Kids
Fun lessons for children and their caregivers about medicinal plants and herbs.
- This program will resume in Spring 2021 -
B ring the whole family to spend time with Everyone Outside at Fire Ring Farm in Portland learning about farmed and naturally-occurring plants and their uses through song and play.
These programs are free but we will gratefully accept a donation to support our work connecting children and adults with the natural world and locally farmed, organic food.
