Frog Friday- Vernal Pool Exploration at Field Forest

Join us for a 3/4-mile family-friendly hike that includes a visit to the large vernal pool in the Field Forest (behind High School) with naturalist, Lucy Meigs. We will see lots of tadpoles! We also likely will see salamander larvae, water beetles, insect larvae, and more!

About the Event
Join us for a 3/4-mile hike that includes a visit to the large vernal pool in the Field Forest (behind High School) with naturalist, Lucy Meigs. We will see lots of tadpoles! We also may see salamander larvae, water beetles, insect larvae, and more!
This hike is a joint program of Everyone Outside and the Coginchaug Outdoor Enrichment Center.
Registration required. Directions will be sent to those that register and registrants will be notified via email if the hike is postponed or cancelled due to weather.
