About the Event
Join us for a family-friendly 2-mile hike at the Mica Ledges Preserve in Durham with naturalist and EO staff, Andie Bisceglia. In addition to hiking, we will stop for fun activities along the way, discover signs of Spring and search for salamanders. Come prepared for the weather, and for trails that may be muddy in places and have a few short steep ups and downs. If you have very young children or infants, a backpack carrier is suggested.
This hike is a joint program of Everyone Outside, the Middlesex Land Trust and the Coginchaug Outdoor Enrichment Center.
The Mica Ledges Preserve is owned and managed by the Madison Land Conservation Trust & the Middlesex Land Trust. For a map of the area we will hike, click here.
