About the Event
Join Women of the Woods (WoW) for a 5-mile hike mostly on Mattabesset trail in Durham. We will pass through a variety of forest ecosystem and enjoy the nice rock outcroppings, the beautiful Whitney Pond and the good views from the top of Mt Pisgah and Mica Ledges. There will be the usual CT ups and down with a few short steep rocky sections. This hike is a joint program of Everyone Outside and the Middlesex Land Trust.
Women of the Woods (WoW) is a program of Everyone Outside and is open to all those who identify as female or gender nonbinary. In addition to walking, we will take the time to admire the beauty around us, learn a bit about the flora or fauna, do some exercises to…
