WoW Hike at Chatfield Hollow - 1/3/25

Join Women of the Woods (WoW) for an ~3 mile winter hike at Chatfield Hollow State Park in Killingworth.  If it has been cold, we may be treated to some wonderful ice formations along the cliffs and rocky streams. The planned route will be determined by the trail conditions. There will be some rocky sections of trail with a few steep ups and downs. 

Please wear sturdy hiking boots (or supportive winter boots) with good tread. Please bring a pack with warm water, an extra warm layer (for our sit spot) and a snack. You may want to bring hiking poles if you like the extra support and stability they provide, especially if the trail is icy in places. Lucy will be in touch if trail conditions require hiking poles and/or traction devices (e.g. Stable-icers, Yacktrax, micro spikes).
