About the Event
Join us for a ~2-mile social distancing hike to pyramid rock, up on the red trail to the eastern ledges and on to Whitney Pond. After a sit spot by this beautiful pond, we will walk back on an old road. Masks required for a portion of this program.
When hiking on narrow portions of the trail we will walk in silence > 8' apart for extra focus on nature (masks optional).
Space limited to 10 women. Detailed directions will be sent to those who register.

We will meet ~7:45, so we can start our hike at 8:00 AM. Please bring a pack with water and a snack. Please wear hiking/walking shoes. We will be done between 10:30 and 11 AM depending on the group & the weather.
Women of the Woods is a program of Everyone Outside. In addition to walking, we will take the time to admire the beauty around us, learn a bit about the flora or fauna, do some exercises to connect with the natural world (mostly sitting quietly) and enjoy each other's company.
If you have been on a hike or two, please consider making a donation to Everyone Outside. Suggested donation $5 to $15 per hike. We depend on donations from people like you to make our programs possible. Click here for more information on ways you can donate to Everyone Outside. Your donations keep our programs affordable and provide funding for scholarships for our other nature connection programs. Your donation is greatly appreciated! Women of the Woods is supported, in part, by a grant from the Community Foundation of Middlesex County's Sari Rosenbaum Fund for Women and Girls
Registration required. Directions will be sent to those that register and registrants will be notified via email if the hike is postponed or cancelled due to weather.
