WoW Hike at Millers Pond State Park, Durham

Join Women of the Woods (WoW) for a 3+ mile hike around and near my favotite pond in the area. This hike will alternate between old roads with easy walking and some short steep ups and downs over rocky areas. We will have numerous views of beautiful Millers pond along our walk.

Please wear sturdy hiking shoes and bring a pack with water and a snack. Hiking poles may be desireable for the rocky sections of trail, especially if it has recently rained.

Women of the Woods (WoW) is a program of Everyone Outside and is open to all those who identify as female or gender nonbinary. In addition to walking, we will take the time to admire the beauty around us, learn a bit about the flora or fauna, do some exercises to connect with the natural world (mostly sitting quietly) and enjoy each other's company.

Registration required. Directions will be sent to those that register and registrants will be notified via email if the hike is postponed or cancelled due to weather.
