WoW Hike at Millers Pond State Park, Durham - 6-28-25

Join Women of the Woods (WoW) for a 2 to 3 mile hike around and near Lucy's favorite pond in the area. This hike will alternate between old roads with easy walking and rocky areas with few short steep ups and downs and big rocks. We will have numerous views of beautiful Millers pond along our walk. The distance we hike will be in part determined by the conditions (e.g. if it is hot & humid we will take a shorter hike). If it is predicted to be hot, I may change the start time to 8:00am. Please wear sturdy hiking shoes and bring a pack with water and a snack and prehaps insect repellant. Hiking poles may be desirable for the rocky sections of trail, especially if it has recently rained.
