About the Event
Join Women of the Woods for an approximately 3.5-mile hike at the Chapman Pond Preserve in East Haddam. Chapman Pond is a beautiful tidal pond accessible from the east side of the Connecticut River. We will follow the trail as it winds past a vernal pool and a pretty rocky stream down to Chapman Pond. We then more gradually follow the trail through a nice woods with a few more stream crossing back to the parking lot.
