Nature Explorers Photo Journal

Updated: Dec 30, 2021

This past fall has been a whirlwind of juggling COVID-19 regulations and from the fear of indoor spaces when schools reopened to the colder temps forcing us back into buildings. The highlight of my week this fall turned out to be each Wednesday from 9 to 3, when I knew I'd be spending the entire time outside and with a group of spunky, nature-loving friends of all ages. Here's a peak at the joy we were able to experience while encouraging each other's curiosity and helping each other find ways to connect with the land. This land offers us a safe space to grow as individuals as well as part of a greater community.

A big THANK YOU to Fire Ring Farm for collaborating with us for this program and letting us use their land. In addition to Fire Ring Farm, we enjoyed spending a portion of our time in the woods of the Palmer Taylor Preserve that surrounds the farm and is owned by Middlesex Land Trust.
