About the Event
Join Women of the Woods (WoW) for a ~4-mile hike at the beautiful Tyler Mill Preserve in Wallingford. This is a beautiful spot in the spring. We will hike on a dramatic narrow rocky ridge and there will be a some short steep ups and downs. The trail is very rocky in places and easy walking near a river in others. Hopefully we will see some spring wildflowers. For a map of Tyler Mill Preserve, click here.
Please wear hiking boots and bring a pack with an extra warm layer (for our sit spot), water, and a snack. If you like hiking poles, I highly recommend them for areas with loose rocks.
On Women of the Woods hikes in addition to hiking/walking, we will take the time to admire the beauty around us, learn a bit about the flora or fauna, do some exercises to connect with the natural world (mostly sitting…
