About the Event
Join Women of the Woods (WoW) for ~3 to 4-mile hike at the Timberland Preserve in Guilford. The preserve has rocky ridges, narrow a valleys, rocky streams and a pretty lake. It is one of Lucy's favorite places to hike. There will be several fairly short steep sections of trail both up and down. In honor of the first WoW hike on March 27, 2018, we invite you to bring a poem to read that connects you to nature, if you wish. For a map of the Timberland Preserve, click here.
Please wear sturdy hiking shoes, bring a pack with water, a snack and dress for the weather. You may want to bring hiking poles if you like the extra support and stability they provide, especially in places where the trail is steep or has leaves on it.
