WoW Sunset Hike, Mt Pisgah, Durham - 9/18/25

Join Women of the Woods for a 1.5 - 2-mile hike to the summit of Mt. Pisgah for the sunset. Once we get to the summit we will enjoy the view, eat a sack supper, watch the sunset, and then hike down (~1/2 mile) on an old road. We are hiking up a different route than past years, so the accent will not be quite as steep and we can end where we start. There will still be some rocky and steep areas on the hike up.

We will meet ~4:50 on Pisgah Rd, so we can start our hike by 5:00 PM. Please wear sturdy hiking shoes, bring a pack with an extra layer, water, a sack dinner and a flashlight (or headlamp) for the hike down.
