Nature Explorers Preteen Program

This program is open to middle-schoolers or youth in grades 6-8. In partnership with Fire Ring Farm's Erin Livensparger, who brings 15 years experience as a health and sexuality educator for Planned Parenthood, this Everyone Outside nature connection program helps kids deepen their connection with the natural world through hiking, nature games and exploring Palmer Taylor Preserve as well as learn to improve their communication skills, form healthy relationships, deal with stereotypes and gender rolls, set goals, practice body positivity and learn about personal health and nutrition.

The lessons in this 6-session course build on each other, so commitment

to the entire program is necessary.
