Join us to celebrate 15 years of women connecting to nature, hiking together and building community.
Women of the Woods (WoW) is about women supporting women, creating community and enabling more women (and girls) to have safe access to the natural world.
The Women of the Woods 15th Anniversary Gathering is a fun time to connect with other WoW folks and a fundraiser. We will have photos from over the years, nature centered activities, a potluck dinner, an evening fire and plenty of good company! See event schedule below.
Your donation supports the continuation of WoW programs and scholarships for Everyone Outside children's programs including Girls Outside. Contributions small and large appreciated. Whatever you can comfortably afford is fine.

1:00 PM - Optional Hike, click here to register.
3:30-4:30 PM - Suggested Arrival time

Greeters will walk groups the 1/4 mile on an old road to campsite*
3:30 onward - Activities

Nature centered activities and a craft, games, photos from past hikes/events, a memory board and more
4:30 - Big Gratitude Circle, brief WoW history & fire lighting
5:00 - Potluck & making baked apples in fire
6:00 - 8:00 Departure in groups
* The Rockland Preserve Group Campsite is ~1/4 mile on an old road from the parking lot on Renee's Way in Madison. Attendees can follow signs to walk in or walk with a greeter. After dark volunteers will lead groups out by flashlight.
